How our articles are created

Our articles are created using AI language models (Claude by Anthropic), guided by our editorial team. Every article goes through the following process:

1. Topic selection — Topics are chosen based on real lawn care search queries, so we cover questions people are actually asking. We maintain a de-duplicated topic list to avoid repeating similar ground.
2. AI-generated draft — Our editorial guidelines instruct the AI to produce substantive, specific content: real measurements, NPK ratios, seasonal timing windows, and practical action plans. Generic filler is actively discouraged.
3. Editorial review — The Tondio team manages and refines the editorial guidelines, reviews the publishing process, and updates articles when best practices change.
4. Images — All photographs are sourced from Pexels under their free license, with photographer credit on every image.

We believe in being upfront: these articles are AI-generated content. We use AI because it allows us to publish thorough, research-backed guides frequently, at a quality level that would otherwise require a large editorial team.
