Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Tondio ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. This agreement is governed by the laws of Luxembourg, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Luxembourg.

2. Description of Service

Tondio is a lawn care tracking application that allows users to:

• Track mowing sessions with photos and equipment details
• Monitor fertilization applications with NPK tracking
• Manage lawn care tasks and reminders
• Store data locally (anonymous users) or in the cloud (authenticated users)
• Access weather information for lawn care planning
• Manage multiple lawn care locations

3. User Accounts and Data

Anonymous Usage: You may use Tondio without creating an account. Your data will be stored locally on your device using browser localStorage.

Authenticated Usage: You may choose to sign in with Google or Twitter/X to sync your data across devices. We use Supabase Auth for secure authentication.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tondio only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Upload malicious content or attempt to harm our infrastructure
• Use the service to spam, harass, or abuse other users
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our service

5. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

For GDPR compliance (applicable in Luxembourg), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate personal data
• Erase your personal data
• Restrict processing of your personal data
• Data portability
• Object to processing

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Tondio and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Luxembourg and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, including:

• Google OAuth and Twitter/X OAuth for authentication
• OpenWeatherMap API for weather data
• Supabase for cloud data storage and authentication services
• Netlify for hosting and content delivery

These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service Availability: We provide the Service "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Lawn Care Advice: Tondio is a tracking tool only. We do not provide professional lawn care advice. Any suggestions or recommendations are for informational purposes only.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Luxembourg law, Tondio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of Luxembourg, and you hereby irrevocably consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
